Since its inception in 1916, Women Ministries has remained committed to advancing God’s kingdom through ministries that equip women to grow, serve, and reach out with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Women Ministries accomplishes this by connecting women in transformational relationships and uniting them in Christ to impact our world. The purpose of Community Covenant Church’s Women Ministries is to support women in their relationship with God so that through spiritual friendships, mentoring, modeling and teaching one another, we may experience the freedom to become all that God intends us to be. Our Mission is dedicated to nurturing faith, spiritual friendships and speaking to a woman’s heart. There is no formal membership process, if you are part of the congregation as a member or friend, we welcome you! We encourage women of all ages to participate with us.
We are active with many of the programs of the national program, including AVA (Advocacy for Victims of Abuse). Two previous Regional Coordinators for AVA came from our local church! Women are increasingly busy with work and family commitments. It is our prayer that our church will be the place to provide the support, nurture and friendships that so many women long for. Consider getting involved, we’d love to have you! For more information, contact the church office at 508-583-3360 or firstname.lastname@example.org
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Small Group Ministries at CCC exists so that each of us would grow deeper in our relationships with Christ and each other as we learn, support, worship, serve, and pray together. Our vision is to provide a point of connection within the church and the larger community where we may grow spiritually in our faith and knowledge of Christ; be encouraged, supported, and challenged; and feel a sense of belonging and our place in the larger body of Christ.
Currently, our small groups meet for two eight-week sessions...one in the Fall and one in the Spring. CCC is participating in IMMERSE: Covenant Bible Reading Experience.
IMMERSE: The Reading Bible is a six-volume,
specially formatted Bible created with one goal in
mind: to provide the best Bible reading experience
possible. By reading together twice a year, CCC is
reading through all six volumes - the entire Bible - in
three years. Then, we start again! With IMMERSE,
we are making the Bible central to our church's identity
and life together.
If you want to join IMMERSE, email email@example.com or call, 508-583-3360.
Classes for infants through adults meet each Sunday morning throughout the school year. Because the Word of God says, “continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18), we believe that everyone and all ages are life-long learners in the faith. Therefore, we place great emphasis on our Sunday School program as a place for everyone to “continue to grow in...Jesus Christ.” The morning begins at 9:45. All are welcome.
We refer to them as the “mighty men.” But the mighty men of East Bridgewater Community Covenant Church are no mightier than any other except for the strength they derive from Jesus Christ. In fact, this group of men knows that they are weak and that it is in our weakness that Christ’s power is most evident. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
We have a Saturday morning men's breakfast, the first Saturday of each month, an annual summer retreat, trips to sporting events and other get-togethers, and we participate in service projects as the needs arise.
We've also held "just for men" adult Sunday School classes and a Small Group Bible study. We communicate with a men's newsletter and via email. Our primary purpose though is to hold each other up in Christ. We share our burdens and our joys and we pray.
This ministry is open to all adult males.
