For more information regarding this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity please visit the NEW CHIC 2018 website!

Grades 5-8

Colossians 2:6-7

6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and over flowing with thankfulness.

Through our monthly Rooted activities, our 5-8th graders continue to build on what they’ve learned in Servant’s Heart.  It is here that they have the opportunity to serve both inside and outside of the church building.  Activities include such things as visiting nursing homes, helping with VBS and both shopping for and taking collected food to local food pantries.  Rooted also meets occasionally for scheduled fun activities that include a devotion, games and snacks.

Classes for infants through adults meet each Sunday morning throughout the school year. Because the Word of God says, “continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18), we believe that everyone and all ages are life-long learners in the faith.  Therefore, we place great emphasis on our Sunday School program as a place for everyone to “continue to grow in...Jesus Christ.”  The morning begins at 9:45.
