Susan Reilley

It has been my privilege to serve Jesus Christ and His people at Community Covenant since 2003. Prior to moving to East Bridgewater, I served congregations in New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and western Massachusetts. I am blessed to call Gabrielle my wife for twenty-plus years, and God has entrusted us with a wonderful son, Erik. My vision and hope is that Community Covenant will be an authentic community of real and honest people who personally know the grace of God through Jesus Christ.  I welcome you to come to this safe place and explore who Jesus is.

I have been the Minister of Worship and Music at Community Covenant for 18 years. I came to this church because of its strong commitment to choir ministry as part of worship. Prior to my tenure here, I served as Minister of Music in a Baptist church for 20 years. After 35 years as a music teacher, I recently retired. I did my undergraduate work in Music Education at Eastern Nazarene College and my graduate studies in Music Education at VanderCook College of Music and Berklee College of Music. I am honored to serve the Lord at Community Covenant.

Susan has been the piano accompanist for Community Covenant Church for over 12 years.  Her selection of music during a service will take you from traditional hymns, to gospel, to ragtime, or to somewhere you might not expect.

In addition to her ministry of music at CCC, she has become an accomplished accompanist, contributing to successful performances with the Braintree Choral Society for the last 20+ years.  Susan is also currently an accompanist for the Bridgewater State University Chamber Choir.

Susan has had the opportunity to work with many choruses, soloists, and orchestras throughout the years, including the Bel Canto Opera Company, The Quincy Symphony Orchestra, and the Choral Art Society.

I am Mom to 2 daughters and 2 sons and Grammie to 7 girls and 4 boys.

I grew up in a Christian home and attended church as far back as I can remember.  I taught Jr. High Sunday School and served as Youth Leader for 2 years.

I moved to East Bridgewater a few years ago and started attending Community Covenant Church shortly thereafter.  When the church found the need for someone in this position,  I felt called to serve in the office and have been the Administrative Assistant since May 2016.
